A "Sound Bite" like that is going to get around.

Rush may not realize it, but MOST of his listeners are in the same boat as everyone else, worrying about their jobs and their kid's futures.

If he had said something like, "I hope Obama fails in socializing the country", it wouldn't be a big deal.

But just saying, "I hope Obama fails", without including any real subtext probably wasn't too bright.

Rush never really had to worry about getting a job and he's never been able to reproduce, so maybe he doesn't really understand...
