Yes because it takes two salaries to pay for the new kitchen upgrades - and so with both working they are too tired to cook. ........I suppose we move towards single parent working - for the lucky ones.

What you say is exactly right - which suggest that any attempt to push more lending onto people to keep the economy going is rather futile.
