Look, I wasn't there and you weren't, either. I don't know what level of responsibility any officer would have for having known what was going on.

There were courts martial held, 10 or more people were convicted, some are serving 10 years for this crap, and I just don't see how you or me or Al can make any more of it than that. The people who were responsible were punished. What more do you want?

Our people werent seeking information, they were doing what prison guards do to the powerless who they hated because they were at war. Those instincts and they are human instincts must be discouraged by folks in power.

Yes, and these soldiers paid a price for it. IN every war atrocities happen. These were comparatively minor, but for the fact they caused Americans to die.

As to whether one or more officers were actually culpable, I simply DO NOT KNOW and you don't either and Al doesn't either. I can only go by the outcome of the Court Martial of Jordan.

Unlike you guys, I believe the American military generally does the right thing in these instances.
