How can you be a man of principle when you violate those principles as you see fit? I don't know about Michael. But I'd prefer we didn't have to use torture as it is unbecoming for our nation to do it and it gives terrorists fodder to use against us. Still, anytime an innocent American life can be spared by torturing the shit out of a terrorist, we should do it. The detainee can stop any time he wants to by giving the right answer.
