Did you see the latest from this homo? He claims he won the election in MN but just in case, he's taken on another job in DC. I guess he needs to come up with the money to cover the cost of his upcoming lawsuits of a personal nature. Another GOP flim flam man.

Coleman gets job, continues reelection bid

Norm Coleman (R) has taken a job with the Republican Jewish Coalition while contesting Democrat Al Franken’s lead in the Minnesota Senate race, his campaign confirmed Thursday.

In what could be seen as a sign that Coleman thinks his bid to return to the Senate may be lost, he has signed on to do consulting work for the group, which is comprised of a number GOP leaders.

“The senator needs to earn a living while the contest is going on,” said Coleman spokesman Mark Drake, who said the job does not at all affect Coleman’s bid to win reelection.

Coleman has been locked in a bitter fight with Franken since Election Day over the final outcome of the race. The state’s Board of Canvassers has certified Franken as its tentative winner, but an official challenge lodged by Coleman is still to be adjudicated.

“I think our supporters recognize that Sen. Coleman is not a millionaire,” added Drake, who said Coleman’s work will not conflict with Senate ethics rules, because he will not engage in any lobbying. “He has two kids in college and a mortgage to pay.”

The Republican Jewish Coalition is stacked with GOP heavyweights who spend freely to back their party. Sheldon Adelson, who funded Freedom’s Watch in the 2008 cycle, ex-ambassador Mel Sembler, former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer, one-time Bush speech writer David Frum and past Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman all sit on the board.

The group’s political action committee spent hundreds of thousands of dollars slamming President Obama during the 2008 campaign.

The Minnesota Democratic Party and Franken’s campaign both declined to comment.
