I noticed this thread didn't seem to care and started piping up about 2 for 1 splits and $100-120/share. C$CO is in the midst of a product transition to their new routers which they are calling switches now... Hmmmm... C$CO got tired of getting it's Ascend kicked in remote access by A$ND so they employed aggressive pricing tactics and employee bonuses to gain market share at all costs. Well... Networkers (including C$CO) haven't been handily beating estimates the last few quarters. (I expect a resurgence but not until '98). Do I hear problems with C$CO's Stratacom unit? A little trouble with the ASIC's for their GE? God forbid these GSR's that are starting to ship start having problems. No word yet but anything's possible. Oh, I guess that's not fair of me. C$CO took so long to get it out the door that I imagine they spent those many months working out the bugs while A$ND has been shipping their GRF. Interest rates could start sky-rocketing like Mr. Rogers thinks and multiples could start shrinking... The Justice Department has gone after Wintel, now they just need to go after the "co" in Wintelco... Shall I go on?
