Can you buy a slot fo future shipments with payments now ? You might need to pay more than $1500 per day, but you might line up shipping for a year from now at a reduced rate by paying today. A lot of counter party risk, of course. If this would also help secure future favors and informaiton from shippers, it could be useful. By the way, I assume these ships can handel Agricultural products....
