The thing everyone fails to see is that POW's do not have constitutional protections to start with. Secondy these are non uniformed enemy combatants so they don't even have standing under the Geneva convention. In other words we can capture them, torture the shit out of them to get what info we want and then shoot them and feed them to pigs and we would not be in violation of the Geneva Convention. I'm not suggesting we do that but I get quite irritated with people talking about the illegal prison.

As an active duty friend of mine said, closing Gitmo and giving these people status in our judicial system will end up being called the interrogate and kill them on the field of battle bill. There won't be anymore captures.
