It will be interesting to see where things land in another 4 years or so. For now, I guess we should all just stick to our plans and see what happens.

I'd be bummed if this is another losing year, but I guess that's the risk.

I'm just glad I took some good advice to have a "balanced" position at this time in my life, or things would be much worse for me. As it is I can rebalance. If I was fully in stocks, well, I guess 100% is an automatic rebalance ;) the value just goes up and down.

I have a freind who has spent most of his life predicting the financial crisis. he's about 52 YO. He only invests in CD's and US Bonds. He doesn't even own his own home. He never wanted to take a risk in RE, even for the roof over his head. Finally this last year, he was able to look me in the eye and say, "I told you so"
