the U.K. over the past decade gutted their already shrunken manufacturing base as it shifted headlong into “services” and finance. any thinking person could see this was a ship headed straight for the rocks. I'm just one of the many who used to be in manufacturing. At least you strived to make a profit in that sector. I feel for British policymakers Every last one of these idiots should be canned, and I'm talking about any person who has been involved with setting British economic policy for the last ten years. I'd be happy to conduct the exit interviews if they can't find any volunteers for the job -g-
