Interesting program on free speech TV about the suppression of a Filipino revolt against US occupation in 1901. The atrocities committed by the US military in this campaign are almost too savage to comprehend. Some 500,000 Filipinos were brutally slaughtered. In one particularly shocking incident the US military killed every Filipino over the age of 10 on Samar Island in revenge for an attack that killed about 50 US troops. Moslems and Arabs are merely the latest in a long list of nations and peoples to feel the the incredible savagery that the "land of the free and the home of the brave" is capable of. And there is much more of this to come for sure.
