Anyway, it doesn't matter whether Christiane Amanpour is a citizen of the UK or the US because most of her peers in the media (including Atlanta-based CNN) seemed to share her views.

The press was never really supportive of Bush except in the months following 9/11.


In 2003, when Bush wanted to go to war in Iraq....when it was clear to people like me, and CJ and RW and Obama, that it was a fool's gambit, Bush had nearly the full support of the media. In fact, they were embedded with the US Army. That was long past 9/11.
