I know - that's the hardest part.

So to try to muster an intelligent response: Mostly a mix of folksy rocky stuff - the acoustic is great because I can just pick it up and play - and I do. I like resonant sounds, so I'm attracted to the semi- and fully- hollow bodies but I do some occasional overdriven metal sound on my Behringer Strat clone too. So I like a variety of styles probably all supported by any multiple pickup guitar. Basically, I'm looking for a good all-around instrument, that can be picked up and played, plugged or not where I hear exactly what I imagine to hear!

The the over-educated might call it a "Magic Lute" (apologies to Mozart).

I have a little practice amp that does some sound shaping and is surprisingly clean for the price - that would probably be the weak point in any electric sound system. So, beauty and quality of sound are big components. And an Amp is probably required... sigh!
