Obviously from this, from which you were unable to deduce the correct conclusion, [herewith again], <<Lee Der Industrial, a contract manufacturer based in southern China, was responsible for producing the toys that contained excessive levels of lead paint in the first recall. Mattel stopped accepting goods from the contractor, and last week the Chinese government revoked Lee Der’s export license. The owner of Lee Der, Zhang Shuhong, committed suicide by hanging himself in a factory warehouse last Saturday, Chinese officials have confirmed.

Mr. Eckert said in an interview that Mattel had been able to recover the costs of its recall of the products made by Lee Der Industrial. “My understanding is that Lee Der is out of business,” he added. >

To belabour the point, Mattel recovered the costs of recall, presumably from the company which painted the toys. The owner of Lee Der hanged himself. Lee Der is out of business now. The Chinese government revoked Lee Der's export licence.

If Lee Der was an innocent party providing lead according to Mattel specifications, why do you think they paid Mattel the cost of the recall? Why do you think Zhang hanged himself if he was doing things by the book and as requested by Mattel and reasonably enough for government work [which he had as a licensed exporter]?

Mattel in that article you linked agreed to pay money but specifically did NOT admit they did anything wrong. It was a small amount of money which is obviously "public relations payment" to be see to be doing something and accepting that they should have been more vigilant as the party best positioned to ensure children did not get lead poisoned from toys.

You are obviously confused and bewildered and shall be Biblically punished for your wanton ways lacking Virtuous Victorian Values. You have obviously been polluted by the air in Beijing and cannot think clearly. Your motivations are obviously loot [as you admit yourself] and your heart is impure. Repent.

I am pleased to be of service.

Gung Ho,
