I agree with that (above the fray part) Gloop, but am mindful that GWB really did that, to his peril. And frankly, IMO, our peril as well. We have lost as a Country the ability to have a civil discussion ....
We HAVE to get back to being able to discuss issues, and so far in the last 4 days of a new Administration, I see little that encourages me to believe that divisive isn't the name of the game so far. Wish I didn't think that, but I do.
Steamrollers work for awhile, but soon become rusty, and obsolete. Especially when used with salt.
It will be interesting to see just where we are by the end of February....that's about 6 weeks, so we should be able to tell more by then.
He is our ONLY President, so it's to our advantage to have things better. But so far, I think we're seeing more Rahm Emanuel than we are the President. |
