Christians would be crazy to push for a philosophy of religions class in high school. I've never seen them do so. I've seen attempts, from that quarter, to have the bible taught but not comparative religions or philosophy of science or religion, etc. I don't think there is any doubt that attempts to "teach the argument" in science classes are little more than attempts to undermine science as a way of knowing.
