Did they ever make anything useful of those little fuzzy black things that stuck on our magnets? Actually, they did. Don't try to get it through security at the airport. My wife had her five pound ankle weights in carry-on, and it did cause a problem that was satisfactorily resolved before she was shoved up against the wall. Those ankle weights are made in China and like most Chinese stuff are made from materials that look better than they actually are. They're filled with plastic packets of iron filings, and tend to leak after you've used them for a while.
