It is fantastic! Lots of sex, violence and drama. Exactly what most people want to watch. gg Seriously, I watched the other PBS thing "The Six Wives of Henry the VIII" back in the '70s and didn't like it very much. This is much, much better, with charismatic actors, and a story line that is very easy to follow and understand. Like today, those were complicated times, with a huge amount of power designated and used by one man. It was around the period when Martin Luther was making huge waves amongst the populace and really teeing off Rome. The scenery is great, the costumes fabulous and there's some really good acting going on, as well as an historical timeline that is quite interesting.
