What happening is what has been termed "Lemon Socialism". That is where we socialize the failures but not the successes. So when they gamble and lose, it becomes ours, but it they win, they keep the rewards. I hadn't heard of "Lemon Socialism". But it looks like that's where we are. Problem is that there are too many lemons, not enough limes.
