Thanks. The local library has two copies. I checked their availability by computer. Both copies out. Happened to be in the library locale Saturday. Went in to check, thinking there might be a chance one of the copies was returned ahead of schedule. Finally found the empty space where the book should be. Had to knell down because the space was a lower shelf. Was checking adjacent titles when something hit me in the back. This book was lying on the floor. amazon.com I checked where the book should be shelved. It was one aisle over in the stacks. (Not in the shelves at my back.) Read enough of it to get a little bit interested. So I ordered it from Amazon. Edit: the actual title is Day of Reckoning: The Consequences of American Economic Policy under Reagan and After
