I'm on line again and jumping in to tell you I bought a Dell Mini 9 and after I got it I bought my youngest daughter one for her birthday this month. She saw mine and wanted one. I wanted one to take with me when we travel out of town. It has XP on it and I think if I want to try Vista (which I doubt I will) that I will be able to download that too. I also got the backpack for us both. It is a one shoulder backpack and very easy to carry as the computer is so light. It also has a pocket for a camera which my daughter already has. Don't kids have everything before Mom does? LOL

I saw an ad where Dell was selling their mini for $99.00 with a $350 discount but I don't see it now. I think it was a one day only sale if I remember correctly and I had already ordered my daughter's. They are so light and come in different colors. I have only opened mine a couple of times and found it is easy to use. They come with a charger and a USB port. Battery lasts four hours before you have to charge them again.

I have had to replace my computer printer, my fax machine and a copy machine which I bought about six months ago as the ones I had died. Technology has moved right along since I first purchased the others. My new fax machine copies and scans too and my new printer does even more. Still having to read all they will do and learn how to use them. The Dell printer was the one I was trying to carry up the stairs to set up when I fell. It prints, scans, prints photos and I am now looking for a digital camera so I can post pictures. The camera I have is not digital. I do have a Logitech camera attached to my computer, but I haven't used it in months now. Had several friends on the cancer support group that also had cameras and we used to sign on together and chat. That was fun seeing the ones you were talking to. They were in Florida, Washington State, Texas and Idaho. We would usually talk twenty to thirty minutes and had no phone bills to pay.

I think I am now almost back to normal with the exception of my back hurting at times. Started back bowling this week and did not seem to bother me while bowling. The exercise felt good. My computer chair must need to be changed as my back does hurt after sitting a short time. This fall seems like one of the worst things that has ever happened to me and I surely am ready for the pains to go away for good, even though I was advised I might have a long recovery. Well I think seven, almost eight, weeks is long enough to deal with these pains and I know I am impatient about this, but I am ready to get along and go in comfort!
