i don't have the data to do it.

but i do know that more *most* folks have lost very badly since 1998 - even though the S&P is flat during that time. the reason the market goes up is because more and more people are buying more and more shares - and this is especially true in bubble markets.

i would think that if all the legions of folks who followed bob's advice has made such great gains then this thread would be one big party.

seems to me brinker's advice burned quite a few people.

perhaps they can share their anecdotal truth with you.
