The problem that plagued Bush was that the American people lost faith in him. You can blame it on the press, congress or any of a number of culprits but in the final analysis it destroyed his ability to lead. <<We HAVE to get back to being able to discuss issues, and so far in the last 4 days of a new Administration, I see little that encourages me to believe that divisive isn't the name of the game so far.>> We're going to need to give the guy more than a week. I haven't had a lot of time but I heard Obama's plan is to "create or Save" 3-4 million new jobs. My son and I were watching and I remarked "how duplicitous of him." I'm not sure how you measure saving jobs? Does that mean if unemployment is higher in 4 years that it would have been even higher because Obama is automatically credited with saving 3-4 million jobs? If I were a member of the press my first question would be if he could provide a quantitative measurement of job savings. I love you guys, know plenty will disagree but I don't have the time or desire to debate the issue. Gloop
