Really glad to hear you're able to be up and about more...that's got to be good for the psyche! I'm to have surgery next week on my neck and on one hand, am reluctant to do it, but on the other, know it must be done...Got up at 4 this morning, because the pain kept waking me up...can only take Tylonol until the surgery. Will be glad when it's over. Am interested in how you do with your new Mini9 "toy"...sounds like it will be great! Know what you mean about reading all the pamphlets, etc for the machines and gadgets we are all collecting...that by itself is a full time job! Your longtime friend sounds like my husbands aunt. She died a few years ago, but like Maxine (my hero), she went skidding into home base....She at 88 years old was up on her roof checking things out...a neighbor called her daughter in PA, and Patti had to come up 350 miles to just check on her mother....Yep, Auntie/Mom was mentally fine....she just thought she needed to do it, and no one else was around to help. She carried the adage "God Helps Those Who Help Themselves" with her every day! <ggg> Keep on getting stronger every day!
