To me this issue is strictly about the dumbing down of our population by sanctioning as science that which is not science. It's bad enough that kids don't learn English anymore. After all, you can still understand someone who says "myself and and my brother graduated high school." Corrupting our understanding of science, OTOH, is dangerous for the future of this country.

I asked you to read it before commenting further because the article takes the whole conversation in a different direction, I think. It takes it outside the sphere of religion and creationist style ID.

I have no issue whatsoever regarding your paradox.

I agree that high school is not the place. The biochemistry of RNA is too complex, for example.

I agree, too, so it's irrelevant to the question of teaching ID as science in elementary and high schools, is it not?
