If the economy continues to melt down and the Republicans don't stand up right now what will happen is that the Dems will look to share the blame. That's what they do.

The Republicans are much better off making their position known, even if it means criticism of the One.

Look what happened with the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac debachle.
Barney Frank and Chris Dodds, the two in it up to their derrieres, blamed Bush, whose administration actually tried to rein them in. They'll say anything.

The Republicans need to take their case to the public and make it clear to the ones with half a brain that out of control spending on BS ain't the way to succeed.
