MP,

I do not know. I'll call my buddy at Visteon who is way up the food chain. He will know, as he is on special reassignment and planned to return to Visteon proper once he has completed his task.

Visteon never had a chance and I was there at the very start of Visteon. I knew Frank and Bill very well when I was a young punk and I could see the empire they planned to build. Too bad that model was fatally flawed from day one.

Here is a story for you. Once a now closed division of Visteon wanted to develop a very large scale process to save money. I met with them and told them in 30 seconds it would not work and precisely why. Two months after that meeting a P.O. showed up with a bunch of made-up costs for this project. I called them and said, THIS WILL NOT WORK. The guy told me to go ahead and ship the equipment and they will figure out how to make it work, cause they are VISTEON. I like free money, so I said yes and sent them a letter saying, THIS WILL NOT WORK. It failed, and I invoiced.

Why?

Because it was the end of the year and if they didn't use that budget, it would have been pulled for the next year.

Yea. True story.
