Exactly!

So, my point is this....The way to "attack" his policies is by making well thought out proposals that counter his. We don't have control so his policies will pass. When they don't work right away we own the high ground. We can say "We proposed this but...." and that will look a lot better to the voters than if we go for his throat.

People that suggest we go after him the same way Democrats pursued Bush are mistaken imo. That would be like a vietnam vet suggesting we treat our returning soldiers the same way they were treated when they came home.

Content matters but so does style in the early part of this game. If we get ugly - we'll lose. If we play it smart we can reverse things in a couple years because IMO the next 2 years are going to be rough for the economy, stock market, unemployment, interest rates - you name it!
