I was curious to confirm whether JJCramer was really the genuine article or an imposter, so I took the liberty of emailing him and TheStreet.com the following:

Supposedly a "James J. Cramer" has appeared on the ASND thread at Silicon Investor. I would like to verify whether this is really you, or whether someone is impersonating you and deceiving others. I would appreciate being informed as to whether you really have an account at SI, and are indeed posting messages on the ASND thread. I am suspicious because I find it unusual that for someone as busy as you surely must be, "you" would engage in casual conversation with other individuals in this discussion medium. Would you please resolve this issue and briefly comment? Thank you.
