I'll take your response as a yes.

With that in mind the smart way to play this is to be the party of proposition. Well thought out policy proposals that get shot down will be the ammo needed to defeat this guy when his policies don't have impact in the next 2 years.

It's almost a 100% sure win! It takes years for presidential policy to impact an economy of this size. In 2 years, when things haven't gotten better, the republicans can say "we told you so" and we'll have worked our way out of the political "wilderness" we find ourselves in now


Because of the large margins that democrats now control it would take a landslide in 2010 to wrest control from them. Obama's arrogance cannot be underestimated. Still even with that advantage Republicans cannot expect to find themselves out of the wilderness in 2011.

The liberal media will not be truthful with the American people because they want Obama to remain in control.
