Confirming Geithner is a mistake: 1) He's a Goldman Sachs crook in the image of Paulson, Rubin, and all the rest, meaning he'll do all he can to rescue Wall Street at the expense of whoever stands in his way. 2) He's crooked on his taxes, and that sets a terrible precedent for Secretary of Treasury as an office. 3) Barack has professed to set a new moral tone, and then he does this. I'm disappointed but it hasn't morphed into disenchantment...yet...
