Yeah, I'm told Tokyo has a similar climate to London. 45 degrees doesn't sound too bad until you experience it with wind and drizzle.

In the summer, you'll find that 75 degrees and sticky, with no air conditioning, is nastier than it sounds also.

You'll enjoy the food more if you get into Indian. I recommend ordering a nice vindaloo, ask them to make it extra hot <G>.
