Skeets, I had nary a PUT going today, so I got a little bit of a haircut on some of my holdings. I tried to pick up some OEX CALLS today when the market was down 220+ points, but my cheap bid price was never picked up and I eventually cancelled the order. I wonder what tomorrow will bring?!

What's interesting about my holdings is that the Market/MM's lowered the Bid but raised the ASK. So, it costs more to buy the stocks and you get less to cash them in. I guess it makes sense in a big down day.

It would be great to hear that you've made a killing on them. Good luck tomorrow!

Good move on cashing in some of your GEMS. Are you looking to buy back in?

Glenayre is a tough puppy to figure out. On one hand, their NPCS market is slow. This was the area, I thought, that gave them the biggest margins and advantage.

On the other hand, their one-way paging market improved by 28% sequentially. Not bad, but lower margins and more competitive, IMHO.

I've got a lot of respect for the manangement of the company. If the price gets down around $13, I'll consider a position in the stock.

Regards,

Bob
