To blindly assume, as some have (e.g., Z on this thread) that 9/11 was nothing more than a lucky hit, and that it couldn't happen again, is just insane. I don't spend much time in NY, but I can't believe most NY-ers believe that.

There is little doubt that given a chance, they'll do it again, bigger and better. And no amount of begging them not to is going to change that.

They just didn't kill enough people on 9/11 to make the Left understand the threat.
