Only briefly.

It is difficult to see, as Netanyahu calls it, a "Durable Peace", in the region. That would require some things to happen that are literally lightyears away from reality.

You would just about have to relocate one side or the other for that to happen, I think.

As tejek pointed out, there is a looming issue with the water -- not only in Israel, but throughout the ME.

If you think fighting over land and religion is nasty, wait until they start fighting over the water.
