But what do we have that is better than democracy, even representative democracy?

How about the political system that the United States of America was founded on? A constitutional republic. A republic where the rights and freedoms of the people were enshrined in a document that clearly delineated the limited power of government and established the framework for a free productive society that became the greatest, wealthiest country in the history of the world. A free, "can do" country that was the envy and hope of the rest of the world.

So what has happened? "Democracy", gang rule of the majority. A constitution that has slowly been eviscerated, from the right and the left, by activist courts who rule that the constitution doesn't mean what it says. A "democracy" that has enabled power hungry political midgets to grow the cancerous government beast to the point where the founding principles of our country are just distant memories, memories that public education is doing it's best to eradicate the last remaining vestiges of from the functionally illiterate brainwashed children that it graduates into our declining society.

We are sliding down the hill. Where this country will end up I don't know. We need someone to tell the truth, but are there enough people left who would even listen and attempt to do something to arrest the descent before it's too late??
