International Absorbents Expands Far East Distribution

BELLINGHAM, Wash., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- International Absorbents Inc. (OTC:IABS), a leading manufacturer and marketer of absorbent
products made from waste wood pulp, reported today that it has expanded export of its Industrial Division products with the addition of new distributors in the Far East.

''In addition to business expansion with our existing distributors in Australia and Japan,'' commented Geoff Lawrence, CEO of Absorption Corp., International Absorbents' operating subsidiary, ''we have recently added distributors and resulting export Shipments to India, the Philippines and Singapore. Outside the Far East, we have brought on additional distribution and shipments to Saudi Arabia and Nigeria.'' Mr. Lawrence went on to say that revenue generated from the export of Industrial Division products has grown to over 10% of International Absorbents' total revenue.
