We didn't have global financial collapse last time. You and I, who have a lot more experience than Ted, both know that there were worse recessions than the early '90's or the 2000 recession that we have experienced, but neither of us have EVER experienced a financial and credit collapse on the current scale.

To think there won't be severe consequences would require us to be willfully blind.
