About the weak price and the "sometimes" heavy volume

It seems like the Compay is still struggeling with an old problem.
Find below the press from some time ago.

Trading Volume Related to Debenture Conversion.

BELLINGHAM, WA, July 15, 1997...International Absorbents Inc. (OTC: IABS), is currently experiencing relatively high volumes of trading on the stock market. This is partially related to the fact that, over a year ago, the Company entered into a convertible debenture agreement. The terms of the debenture allow the debenture holder to convert to common shares at the current market price. Under this scenario, the lower the price, the more shares they will receive. Management has been negotiating with the debenture holders but this has not resulted in agreement. It is not known whether or not
the selling will continue.

The Company's business continues to improve on a steady basis. Animal bedding sales are growing consistently as they have over the past years and the Company's industrial products are now enjoying demand that for the first time exceeds our current supply capability. This year is shaping up to be our best ever.

I hope they're gonna find a solution with this guys very very soon.

Michael
