GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR January 27, 2009: Gulf production dropped off slightly in evening cycle volumes for today but remains at around 10.6 Bcf/d. Tenn declared force majeure on the 523m-9900 lateral and several other associated laterals. The shut in gas from these laterals makes its way through the East Leg of the Blue Water System and is only expected to affect around 40 MMcf/d. Tenn has warned producers about large amounts of sea water they expect to encounter in the system as they bring it back online so outages like this may not be uncommon for the next few weeks.
