e didn't have global financial collapse last time. You and I, who have a lot more experience than Ted, both know that there were worse recessions than the early '90's or the 2000 recession that we have experienced, but neither of us have EVER experienced a financial and credit collapse on the current scale.

The 'recession' in LA during the early 1990s was as close to a depression this country has seen in a long time. You wouldn't know that because you were in Oceanside. Things were very bad in LA.......far worse than anywhere else in the US at that time. After all, the city had gone through a huge loss of jobs, an earthquake and riots. I suspect present day Detroit and New Orleans may be close to that scenario. So I know exactly how bad things can get.

And frankly, I am tired of hearing how experienced you and John are at recession/depression talk. If this is a whole new ball game as both of you have suggested, then neither of you are any more experienced than the rest of us. So why don't we all sit back, relax and see how this unfolds.
