They just beat expectations several hours ago with 0.23 vs 0.21 and had an awesome CC (1-800-633-8284, #3033604). Next two Q's are projected to kick ass, and they still hold a virtual monopoly (90%) on the hinges to the door of the fastest growing sector of the semiconductor industry: laser lithography solutions to next generation smaller-dimension chip manufacturing. They corrected off their highs 2 months ago due to a flurry of rumors that the company and its customers repeatedly denied. Now that the truth is out and the company is looking forward to fantastic growth into mid-98, the stock is going to MOVE tomorrow. Listen to the CC...even the analysts were congratulating the CEO and CFO for "a great quarter". Keep your eye on this one...I've been accumulating heavily for a month now, been holding since July. Cymer is at the bottom of the food chain for the entire semi industry worldwide. >>>Of course the "real" money is made when a good one is knocked down.<<< I agree! Like Peter Lynch said on CNBC several weeks ago: "I love it when analysts and institutions knock down and downgrade a great stock, that's when I buy them heavily on the cheap!" The next time one of the big 3 networkers get hit, I'll be there scooping up the shares. It worked for CSCO, COMS, CSCC, ASND, and even FORE! And that's just with networkers... Style Pts.
