"Bargain hunters such as Parkin, a 50- year-old aerospace engineer who is shopping for a personal residence, and mom-and-pop investors on the prowl for rental properties, aren’t waiting for federal aid. "

Buy those properties! The prices are going back up real soon and you'll get rich! All you have to do is pay property taxes while you wait.

"Lenders seized 9,787 houses a day in December, or almost seven a minute."

Whoops, never mind! You won't be getting rich anytime soon. You'll just be paying property taxes.

Just wait until that mortgage deduction goes away. That will be the final nail in the financial coffin for many people.

PT Barnum would be having a field day in real estate if he were still alive. There really IS a sucker born every minute.
