The country has been completely robbed under W. Freedom is rarely coincident with the economic bottom - the really deep crisis, the bottom, obviously still lies ahead. SS/Medicare funds are robbed, the govt is broke, everyone in the country is broke. It won't be fixed overnight, but there are reasons to celebrate. Our path has turned. With former crooky management we could expect nothing but decades of trouble. Now we fix the damage and move on. I'd give it about 2 years of race to the bottom, with the crisis in 2011.
