While I agree with you as to Microsoft's motivations (and also find the motivation to kill Netscape dispicable), Microsoft has the right to control its product and how that product gets distributed as long as its conduct is not illegal. It also does not matter whether Microsoft's motivation was to kill Netscape, or anyone else, as long as that motivation, and Microsoft's conduct, are not illegal.
