You say and do everything in your power to disprove and criticize, instead of doing something useful, like making the world a better place.

Your assuming the conclusion of the debate in order to make your point in the debate. You have to establish that your ideas are ones that are useful, and will make the world a better place first, before taking the action. In order to show that the ideas and theories and plans have to stand up to the criticism and counterarguments.
