billion cubic feet
of gas were withdrawn from storage during week ended Jan.
23, according to the average prediction of thirteen analysts and traders in a

Withdrawal estimates for this week's EIA storage report
ranged from 135 bcf to 194 bcf, with most traders and analysts
expecting stocks to fall by about 170 bcf when weekly data is
released Thursday at about 10:30 a.m. EST, a Reuters survey
showed.
Stocks fell an adjusted 240 bcf for the same week in 2008,
while the five-year average draw for that week is 184 bcf.

GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR January 28, 2009: Gulf production inched up today in evening flows to around 10.7 Bcf/d. Tenn announced that effective immediately, they will be reversing all header gas to resume its normal operations and be treated as 500 line receipts instead of 800 line receipts. Currently this represents roughly 20 MMcf/d but historically has been around 40 MMcf/d and can climb even higher when the interconnect with Garden Banks is heavily utilized.
