<<Of course, IPM could end all this with an announcement.>>

Unfortunately they can't Larry. That's the rub here. It is finally, really, truly, out of their hands. It's in lab hands, and the return delivery date can not be exact. IPM finally got the message about not giving out dates or even expectations of dates in areas beyond thier control, as Rock Doc railed about. The last PR was terse and intentionally dateless. Now it seems some are upset about that and others are trying to scare people it must mean a real long time. Seems like IPMs in a damned if the do, damned if they don't situation on dates now. That's not good.

I've checked on a few prestigious labs, backlogs are routine, and we are right in the ball park (from the time of the last PR) that one could expect results back -- could drag even a few more weeks, or the phone could ring tommorow. Would be normal.

Bear in mind, the stuff was sent in anonymously by BD and Bateman, we are waiting for two sets of results.

My understanding of the process is as follows:

The labs will phone results to BD and Bateman, probably followed by fax. They in turn will probably notify IPM with preliminary results by phone, and they they will very quickly write up a brief _preliminary_ report summarizing the results, about as long as a letter, and fax this to IPM. IPM will write a PR release based on this and should have it out within 48 hours. Who ever posted about weeks is _wrong_ ... there will be a premlim report -- it can be generated by the consultants and deisseminated by IPM relatively quickly. Certainly all parties are poised for such.

We have a strange and in some ways amusing dance going on the thread now, posts by some of the punters that have freely admitted they change their tone between bull or bear toward the stock depending when they are in or out at that moment. One must have loaded up on the last spike thinking news the next day and is underwater at the moment so he must force a cheerful demeanor -- while another, warns the stock is going down if disgruntled squabling continues (as if it won't) while Walter orchestrates the squabling. I somehow find it incredulous that retail newbie's visiting this thread control our support and resistance levels at the moment, but who knows?

Yes, I agree, Matt should stop sniping at Claude. It's not productive.

Theo mentions taking a painful bath on margin/cash mangagement or something and some of his posts seem a bit bitter to me... If that's Theo Dupree I remember him being a pretty decent guy -- and that line about the Caymans in his last post is unfortunate. Aside from being illogical and baseless, those kinds of innuendos are just plain ugly.
No one is going to the Caymans, I thought we were past that.

Theo was right-on about that Drinker character, at best it was a dazzling display of arrogance. His timing was uncanny, polite inquiries for any factual backup were ignored, whether he was one or not he _acted_ like a scripted short poster. The only reason he researched was because a friend asked, but rather than call his friend he got an account on SI to post his "dd" the day after Walter appears? Then instead of sharing an iota of evidence with the people here he cared so much about to bother warning, an absurd testimonial appears also with no data other than the fellows' family tree. I didn't realize having a sucessful father and grandfather meant their progeny were incapible of being shorters, yet along ill-informed and pompous. Now, that I know this I can sell all my shares based solely on Drinker's say-so.

Ho-boy... this thread is amazing.

Long, hangin in there, but tired of waiting like everyone else,

Lew Green
