To All: About Morgan Stanley in particular. You all know what happened here in Hong Kong yesterday: -1211 points (-14+%.) Well it seems that Morgan Stanley might have had a small part to play here that you will recognize. For some time there have been predictions from different quarters that there were some problems in the HK economy. But several months ago, Morgan Stanley said that they expected the Hang Seng (then around 15,000) to climb to 18,000. As late as two weeks ago, they were standing by their 18,000 point prognostication. Then....two days ago they announced that they were cutting the Asian weighting in their international investment portfolio to ZERO (which before was at 2%!! - some reflection of their confidence!) Yesterday, the market crashed. Does this sound familiar......

MS seems to be about the most ruthlessly manipulative investment house in existence (just my opinion! ;-) )

By the way, Asian bourses are mixed today, but as of 2:45PM local time, the Hang Seng is up 471 points (4.5%) over yesterdays close.

jess.
