Get a RO/DI unit for ultra-pure water. spectrapure.com I believe brita will only filter the sediment and doesn't do anything about trace dioxins, heavy metals, chloramines, etc.. One thing, ultra-pure water is corrosive as it's starved for ions. It'll eat your bones in the long term leading to osteoporosis. The best thing is to re-ionize it with some hardness. Then again, tapwater is probably not that bad to drink either.
